The Soul

The soul is like the canvas, where we capture the moral examples we see before us. The soul can be painted with good or evil, it is up to us to seek out holy examples to follow and avoid those who would corrupt us. Unless we actively choose the voices that we allow to guide us we will be pushed and pulled by the vain and proud voices that shout so loud in the world around us. When the heart is young and lacking in wisdom it is vulnerable to the demands of these voices that seem to promise so much.
